Basis and limitations
- Loading. Weight and CG use the AFM station arms, fuel and baggage limits, and the selected modifications. CG is checked with fuel loaded and empty and, when de-icing is installed, with fluid loaded and empty. De-icing fluid is limited to 35.2 lb from the published 3.9 US gal capacity and AFM density. Installed equipment, including weather radar and the dry TKS system, must already be included in the aircraft-specific empty weight and moment.
- Field performance. Takeoff and landing use the displayed AFM flap configurations on a dry, paved, level runway. Published headwind and tailwind corrections are applied; no grass, wet-runway, or runway-slope adjustment is calculated. The fuel-flow tool reports both the AFM per-engine value and the two-engine total.
- Climb performance. Takeoff and cruise climb assume both engines at 95% power. OEI assumes the remaining engine at 95%, the failed engine feathered and secured, Flaps UP, gear retracted, and no more than 5° bank. Go-around uses both engines at MAX, Flaps LDG, gear extended, and VREF. An OEI gradient below 3.3% is highlighted because the AFM does not recommend a continued takeoff.
- Coverage. Published OAT and ISA values are interpolation anchors. In accordance with AFM Section 5.2, weights from 3,527 through 3,968 lb use the 3,968 lb performance data and temperatures below the lowest available row value use that lowest value. Hatched cells and conditions above the published table bounds remain blank.
- Use. This is a planning aid, not approved flight-manual data. Verify the aircraft configuration, loading, result, and limitations against the current AFM for the specific aircraft.
